Dispute Resolution, Caribbean and England & Wales

In the modern world it is inevitability that from time to time business agreements and contracts will go wrong. When this happens parties are forced to take action to have matters resolved.

We encourage parties to use dispute resolution, with a view to finding a solutions without having to commence court proceedings.
In many legal disputes the courts require parties to attempt dispute resolution before commencing proceedings. This requires parties to communicate through their mediator or negotiator to find a satisfactory compromise.
One of the key benefits of dispute resolution is that matters can be resolved far more quickly than through commencing litigation, which can be quite costly for clients.
At EMA we spend time discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of mediation to the client, and explore the options available to enable them to make the right decision and find the resolution that they are confortable with moving forward.
