OUR FIRM

Rooted in the Caribbean.
Connected to the world.

A Caribbean-focused legal practice and strategic consultancy for regional clients, prospective residents, families, entrepreneurs, investors, institutions and the global Caribbean diaspora.

OUR STORY

Built around people, not just jurisdictions.

Established more than 20 years ago, EMA Solutions has evolved alongside the changing needs of our clients across the Caribbean and internationally. More recently, we have restructured and streamlined the practice to concentrate on our principal areas of legal practice and strategic advisory work, allowing us to continue delivering exceptional, attentive and practical service. Headquartered in Grenada, we assist individuals, families, businesses and institutions throughout the Caribbean, as well as those looking to live, work, invest or establish a business in the region.

Our work ranges from private client, high-net-worth and family office services to disputes, maritime and commercial matters, corporate and government consultancy, governance and business planning. We also support newcomers and returning nationals with legal coordination around Caribbean property, personal and commercial affairs, alongside specialist local advisers where needed.

The practice is led by Dr Dawn De Coteau. Together, our lawyers cover more than 15 Caribbean jurisdictions, bringing regional breadth to the service we provide to individuals, families, businesses and institutions. Dr De Coteau’s professional experience across Caribbean jurisdictions and England and Wales informs our cross-border approach. The services available from EMA Solutions itself depend on the entity and jurisdiction engaged; we explain those arrangements clearly at the outset.
